What if is not on a specific bank’s Solicitor Panel? Is it possible for me to continue with my firm notwithstanding that they may excluded from the lenders approved list?
The options here are as follows
  1. Carry on with your law firm but your bank will need to instruct a lawyer on their conveyancing panel.
  2. Retain a new solicitor to act in the purchase, obviously ensuring they are on the bank conveyancing panel.
  3. Convince to do everything within their powers to join the lender conveyancing panel
What tools are available to find a local solicitor on a specific conveyancing panel? I have a car and am prepared to travel up to 20 miles to meet the conveyancer.
