In particular the most common searches are currently, Santander conveyancing panel, Halifax panel of conveyancers, Nationwide conveyancing panel, HSBC panel lawyers. Other conveyancing panel enquiries include: Lloyds, Yorkshire Building Society, Skipton Building Society. Members of the public are likely to want to use your firm where they have a specific lender involved on a conveyancing transaction for example remortgage or extending a lease.

What if is not listed on a specific bank’s Conveyancing Panel? Is it possible for me to continue with my firm notwithstanding that they may excluded from the banks list of approved lawyers?
You have a number of options available to you here
  1. Carry on with your law firm but the lender will need to instruct a lawyer on their conveyancing panel.
  2. Get a new firm to act in the purchase, obviously checking they are on the bank conveyancing panel.
  3. Convince to do everything within their powers to join the lender conveyancing panel
How do I find a local solicitor on a specific conveyancing panel? I have a car and am prepared to travel up to 10 miles to meet the lawyer.
