What if has never been on on a specific bank’s Conveyancing Panel? Is it possible for me to use my firm notwithstanding that they may not be on the banks approved list?
You have a number of options available to you here
  1. Complete the purchase with your law firm but your bank will need to instruct a lawyer on their conveyancing panel.
  2. Retain a new firm to act in the purchase, obviously checking they are on the bank conveyancing panel.
  3. Convince to do everything within their powers to join the bank conveyancing panel
What tools are available to find a local solicitor on a specific conveyancing panel? I have a car and am prepared to travel up to 10 kilometers to meet the solicitor.
