My financial adviser has asked me for my law firm’s panel reference for the Danske Bank conveyancing panel. How do I find this out. I have contacted my local Danske Bank branch but they cant find it on their system.
You are best placed to get this information from your conveyancing lawyer. They should have a central record lender panel numbers including the Danske Bank panel reference.

Law firms are listing on a daily basis and it is probably the case that your lawyer is on the Danske Bank conveyancing lawyer and you should probably take them at their word. Please do feel free to suggest that they completing their listing on our site as it would only cost them £1 a month to list themselves as being on the Danske Bank solicitor panel.

You can use any solicitor you like but Danske Bank then has the right to appoint a different solicitor to act for them at your expense. It might be more cost effective and quicker to instruct a lawyer who is on the Danske Bank solicitors panel

You must advise Danske Bank in advance of renting your property as this is likely to be a breach of Danske Bank’s mortgage conditions. In many cases banks or building societies will permit you to let out your former home without needing to switch to a buy-to-let mortgage but some lenders will add a surcharge to your mortgage rate to reflect the higher risk. You should contact Danske Bank directly. You need not do this via a Danske Bank conveyancing panel firm.

Mortgage companies tend not to not issue an offer until they have details of a lawyer on their panel. It can take a few weeks for Danske Bank to deal with your lawyers application to be on the Danske Bank conveyancing panel. There's no guarantee that your solicitors will be accepted.
